AMSTERDAM, Netherlands, March 27, 2026 - Terrateam, the Terraform and OpenTofu automation company, today announced that it has rebranded as Stategraph. The Terrateam product continues under the new brand as Stategraph Orchestration.

The new name reflects the company's expansion beyond pull request automation into Terraform state management itself. Stategraph now ships two products: Stategraph Orchestration, the GitOps engine formerly known as Terrateam, which runs plans and applies from pull requests on GitHub and GitLab with policy and cost checks built in; and Stategraph Infrastructure as a Database, which replaces the single Terraform state file with a dependency graph in PostgreSQL so that plan and apply time is proportional to the size of a change rather than the size of the state.

"Terrateam was named for what it did when we started, which was automate Terraform in pull requests," said Josh Pollara, co-founder of Stategraph. "We build the state engine underneath it now as well, and one name should cover both. The team, the product, and the roadmap are unchanged."

Existing Terrateam customers do not need to take any action. Current installations, configuration, and integrations continue to work unchanged, and the company is moving to the new brand gradually rather than in a single cutover. Terrateam continues to be available at terrateam.io.
